In case any of you are wondering, I did watch Gone With The Wind.

All 4 hours of it!!!

I loved every minute.

I have to admit I did have to fight off the guilt about half way through.

But, you will be happy to know, the guilt did not win.

I sat through it all, and so happy that I did.

Yes, romance lives on!

There were so many great quotes in this film, but my favorite had to be:

"No, I don't think I will kiss you, although you need kissing, badly. That's what's wrong with you. You should be kissed and often, and by someone who knows how."

So amazing!!!

I was thinking today, WHO is going to be my 1000th viewer???

That number is fast approaching.  I am at 993 already in just a few short months.

How cool is that?

Is my 1000th viewer going to be you?

It's probably going to be me, since I usually notice serious grammar mistakes and edit my posts 10 times before I get them right, and even then....they aren't!

Let me know if you're the lucky one!

Leave me a comment or send me a note at gillespie_13@hotmail.com.  I would love to hear from you!

What should I do today?  I have no plans.

It's my last day off, I am back to work tomorrow and already I am having serious anxiety over this concept.

The more days off I have, the harder it is to go back!

Guess I need to cram in all the stuff I didn't do all week, into today.

That sounds a little too daunting for 8am.

Or perhaps,  just maybe, I will sit and watch Gone With The Wind.

I am sure I will cause quite a stir when I say this, but I have never seen that movie.   (Gasp)

I know, me, the one who considers herself a film buff.

It's shocking!

In fact, there's a few classic I have not seen yet.

Wait for it,     wait for it,    prepare yourselves......

Casablanca

I can hear the moans and groans already!

Strange isn't it, I mean what do I do with my time if I haven't seen Casablanca or Gone With The Wind yet????

Okay, I haven't really seen that many now that I have a good look.

Although,  I have seen Wizard of Oz about 40 times, actually, probably more than 40 times, if that counts for anything.

There is also a list for the Top 100 Romance films, and I have probably seen most of the them.

Classic or not, I am never going to watch a Lord of the Rings film, nor will I ever sit through Apocalypse Now.  I have an attention span of a 2 year old for movies like that.

I know, I know.....gasp!!!

Oh, and the only reason I ever saw The Deer Hunter (in case you were wondering), I was at a Drive-In with my parents when I was about 9 (or maybe I was 3....since it came out in 1978....cough, yes, I remember now,  I was definately 3).

Anyway, I should have been asleep, but I wasn't.....there, that's the only reason that's crossed off my list.

Now it's your turn, which ones can you cross off?

I guess, I should stop chatting and get moving, looks like I still have a whole lot of movie watching to do.

Gone with The Wind it is!!!
